  Responsible for the development and planning for the new Computer Engineering B.S.

Manage all aspects of business for this company. Also responsible for developing and providing all IT products and services, including a web-based virtual work environment, The eSolve Office, which provides a way for dispersed teams and organizations to work on projects anytime/anyplace, without email and meetings, saving time, energy, and money.

Based on Doctoral research, developed products, service offerings, websites, IT servers, overall infrastructure using variety of Open Source systems and tools based on Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) suite and a host of collaboration tools.

   Teaching I have taught extensively throughout my life. I began as a music instructor teaching guitar, Statement and with 20 students while in High School. I then taught as a TA in college in engineering and Courses Taught computer science. Later, I taught undergraduate Computer Science courses at ETSU while also first employed as an engineer at Texas Instruments. I then taught 5 continuing Education Classes while also working for GE. Finally, I have been teaching for the past 12 years at The University at Albany for the Graduate School of Information and Computer Science, while also employed at Bechtel and working on (and completing) my Ph.D. in Information Science. Additionally, I served as an adjunct instructor for Siena College, RPI, HVCC, and Union Graduate College. In total, I have taught over 86 courses in my career.

My fundamental passion is to teach and to bring real-world life and business experiences to my students in technology, engineering, business, and information / computer science, and help them become life-long learners.
