FIRST AID

IN CASE OF POISONING, contact a physician or a pois on control centre IMMEDIATELY. For all cas es of human ingestion, immediately notify a phys ician or pois on control centre. If pet or lives tock pois oning is suspected, immediately contact a veterinarian.

If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 m inutes. Rem ove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rins ing eye. Call a pois on control centre or doctor for treatment advice.

Vitam in K1, in the form of intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, or by oral inges tion, are s uggested remedial treatments for anticoagulant poisoning. The s everity of the cas e m eas ured by es tablishing the prolonged prothrombin times (P.T.) will determ ine appropriate therapy.

Monitoring P.T. will indicate the necessity of repeated treatm ents.

NOTICE TO USER

This pest control product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on the label. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products Act to us e this product in a way that is incons is tent with the directions on the label. The user assumes the ris k to pers ons or property that aris es from any s uch use of this product.

FIRST AID IN CASE OF POISONING, contact a physician or a poison control centre IMMEDIATELY. For all cas es of human ingestion, immediately notify a phys ician or poison control centre. If pet or lives tock poisoning is suspected, immediately contact a veterinarian.

PRECAUTIONS FOR HANDLING BROKEN CARTONS

Prevent inhalation, skin and eye contact: wear rubber gloves, boots, s afety goggles and NIOSH approved pesticide respirator. Place damaged unit s o further leakage is m inim ized. Cover s pilled material and area around damaged unit with heavy abs orbent and plas tic s heeting to prevent dus ting and blowing.

USE LIMITATIONS

Bait MUST be placed either in tamper-resistant bait s tations or in locations not acces s ible to children, pets, livestock or non-target wildlife. DO NOT place bait in areas where there is a pos s ibility of contaminating food or surfaces that com e in direct contact with food.

STORAGE Store in a cool, dry place away from other chemicals and food or feed. Store product not in us e, in original container, in a secure location inacces s ible to children and non-target anim als.

DISPOSAL Do not reus e empty container. Dispose of unus ed or s poiled bait in accordance with local requirements. Make the empty container unsuitable for further use. Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements. For inform ation on dis pos al of unus ed, unwanted product, contact the manufacturer or the provincial regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a s pill, and for cleanup of s pills.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE – FOR INDOORS USE ONLY.

Us e bait to control the Norway rat (Rattus norvegicus), Roof rat (Rattus rattus), and Hous e m ous e (Mus m usculus) in farm buildings.

Us ers s hould remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then was h s kin thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

FOOD PROCESSING, FOOD MANUFACTURING, FOOD STORAGE AND FOOD SERVICE

AREAS For areas not directly related to food processing: Use only in non-food or non-feed area where feed, food, packaging and handling equipment are never opened or exposed. For areas where feed or food is processed, served, or stored: In meat and food proces s ing plants (proces s ing areas), use only when plant is not in operation. Rem ove or cover all food, packaging m aterial and utensils before placing bait in baiting stations. Remove all baits and dead rodents before reus e of the plant (processing areas include storage and s ervice).

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS: Determ ine areas where rats and/or m ice will m os t likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their signs have been observed.

NORWAY AND ROOF RATS: Place 50 to 100g of Havoc® Rodenticide Bait Packs at intervals of 4.5 to 9 m etres. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fres h bait for at least 10 days until s igns of rat activity cease.

HOUSE MICE: Place 15 to 25g of Havoc® Rodenticide Bait Packs every 2 to 4 m etres. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until s igns of m ous e activity ceas e.
