UNIVERSAL AMERICAN SCHOOL HS COUNSELING DEPARTMENT PRESENTS
Attending a summer camp or pre-college program at a university or college is a great way for students to get a taste of what college life is like and this can enhance a student’s college application. Many North American educational institutions offer summer academic and sports programs. If your son or daughter is interested in learning more about a particular university or college, that institution may offer some sort of summer experience program that is not yet listed in this guide.
Please note that UAS does not specifically endorse or recommend any of the programs listed.
We provide these as a referral service only and are not responsible for validating the quality or standard of the programmes offered. We would, however, be appreciative of any feedback you could provide us with should you elect to enrol in one of these programs. This guide is a work in progress: if you know of other programs, please contact the UAS high school counseling office and we will add to this book for future editions.
