Cambodia – Literacy Project Evaluation. Designed and carried out a three-year evaluation of the literacy component of an internationally funded literacy and development project in Mondolkiri province, Cambodia. (March and April, 2005).

Kenya - Literacy Project Design. Assisted a Kenyan organization called Bible Translation and Literacy in the design of eleven projects in literacy, development, and education. (January to March 1997).

Kenya – Organizational Assessment of Work in Adult Literacy. Carried out a nationwide assessment and performance of a national organization with respect to their work in literacy and education.

Burkina Faso - International Project Evaluation. Designed and carried out an evaluation of an adult literacy project for four language communities of Burkina Faso funded by the Canadian International Development Agency. (February 1996).

September 1992 - Three week tour of Beijing and south western and south central China visiting adult literacy and bilingual education projects and consulting with government and education officials about these programs.

February 1992 - One week in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia consulting with the Ministry of Education in the area of mother tongue education.
